Hypertension and cholesterol
Do-nuts by the dozen,
Roast pork and a plate of crackling
Killed my second cousin.
Dieting and exercise
The leanest of lean cuts,
His sister learned from his mistakes
Until it drove her nuts.

Is this a true story? Felt it could be a reflection on my habits at times!!!!

This isn’t true (as far as I know) but the next poem is based on a story a friend told me about his experiences picking tomatoes in Bowen.
I do love the crackling though!
